57-year-old Emeldah Phiri was diagnosed with osteoarthritis and varicose veins. It all started with painful nerves, hurting knees and lower back ache in 2009. For 7 years, Emeldah took the medication prescribed by the Doctor; went for physiotherapy consistently and also used herbal medication but her condition grew worse.
Her agonizing situation prevented her from living a normal life as she could not perform habitual tasks. Moreover, she had to stop work, making her unable to support her children in School. Miserably incapacitated and dependent on a wheel chair for mobility, she came to the Healing School.
